Staying At Home Program: Supporting Carers and People Living with Dementia
Are you caring for someone with mild to moderate dementia? Carers ACT is here to support you.
Our Staying At Home program offers free, practical advice from experts about living with dementia, while also providing carers with much-needed respite. This federally funded program includes:
- Overnight stays: An introduction to respite in a supportive, comfortable environment, with options to stay in Deakin Cottage, AirBNB-style accommodation, or a hotel.
- Fun group activities: Designed to facilitate meaningful connections with others who share similar interests and experiences.
- Expert guidance: Access to practical advice and support tailored to your needs.
All catering, activities, and accommodation are completely free, ensuring an enjoyable and stress-free experience.
This program is for carers and the people they care for, offering a unique opportunity to connect, relax, and learn.
