Why Carers ACT?
As a trusted partner in care, we enable carers in the ACT to undertake their caring role with capacity and capability.
At Carers ACT we are deeply passionate about impacting the lives of carers. We are great at partnering with carers through their journey, seeing and hearing carers where no-one else does, supporting and advocating for better outcomes and being there during the hard times.
Carers ACT also plays a vital role in creating a more inclusive, compassionate and kind community through our advocacy work and driving partnerships with Government and other stakeholders.
From our humble beginnings, carers have always been and remain at the centre of everything we do.
“Carers ACT and their wonderful staff have supported me, added value to my everyday life, offered opportunities and been a light in the dark during harder times. I value this organisation and the beautiful people immensely.”
