Caring as unpaid work

The ACT Government want to hear about the experiences of Canberran’s providing unpaid work, including caring responsibilities. They would like to understand how this relates to participating in paid employment and how they can better recognise the economic contribution of unpaid work in Canberra.
Carers ACT will be lodging a submission directing the committee to the policy and advocacy work that we have already undertaken on this topic. Carers can lodge their own submission via the inquiry website, or share feedback with us at carer.advocacy@carersact.org.au, and we will include it in our submission.
