World Mental Health Day
Today is World Mental Health Day.
For many carers, ensuring we are mentally healthy and focussed on our wellbeing is a vital part of our our role as a carer to those we love.
Yet, too often, we forget about our own mental health as we focus on the ones who need our care, every day.
So, on this World Mental Health Day, Carers ACT is encouraging everyone to priorities their own wellbeing, even in just a small way.
Take a moment to be mindful, do something you enjoy, take a walk in the sun, or find some time to rest. Do something just for you today, as best you can, around your busy caring schedule.
After all, mental health is a universal human right, and that includes you.
