Parent Views on School Attendance – Research
In December 2022, Carers ACT submitted a response to the Senate Inquiry into The National Trend of School Refusal and Related Matters. In our submission we advocated for more research. So we are pleased to promote a new research project being undertaken by Deakin University.
The research team at the University is interested in hearing from parents on their views and experiences of school attendance, and school attendance challenges.
Are you:
• The parent of a school-aged child?
• Living in Australia?
• Fluent in English?
If ‘yes’ to all of the above, you are invited to complete their brief survey about your understanding and views of school attendance and school attendance problems. Your child does not need to have, or have had, problems with school attendance to complete the survey.
You can access the survey HERE
