Young carers under the age of 25 who are currently studying or training, or will be in 2019, are encouraged to apply for the 2019 Young Carer Bursary. The nation-wide program aims to relieve the inequality young carers experience while combining study and caring responsibilities by offering a 12-month grant of $3000 to 333 young carers looking to undertake study or training.
Young carers interested in receiving a bursary must apply online, outlining their caring experience and how a bursary would change their life. Entries close at 5.00pm on Wednesday 5 September.
