- Carers must be registered with our service. For more information, visit Register as a Carer
- You must be the main carer (except in the case of young carers needing educational support)
- You provide ongoing care to a person who is frail aged, has a chronic illness or disability for at least six months (except for palliative care).
Not all the services and supports offered by Carers ACT are available to residents of Southern NSW due to geographical restrictions of our funding (for example, counselling). In this instance, we will refer NSW carers to their local support network or to Carers NSW.
If you are in doubt about what supports you can access, please contact our team on 1800 052 222
