Gillian has worked at the intersection of media and politics for more than 20 years. She’s currently working as a Media Consultant but has been the Head of Strategy for ABC News, a Bureau Chief in the Parliamentary Press Gallery, a political reporter, and senior consultant at a strategic communications firm. Gillian is a carer and through her own family experience with disability, has been heavily involved with Malkara Specialist School and advocacy for various other not-for-profits.
