Today marks the beginning of National Carers Week. This week, we recognise the more than 50,000 carers in the ACT. We see you, we hear you, and we care.

More than one in ten Australians are carers, making an enormous contribution to our community and the local economy. National Carers Week provides us with an opportunity to express our appreciation for your selfless dedication.

We want to work to build a community that cares for you, and those you care for.

We will be sharing stories and resources this week, and we encourage you to reach out to us, and share your experiences. Help us build awareness and understanding amongst the Canberra community.
