Southside Gentle Yoga

Participation in a regular yoga class can assist to improve your overall health and wellbeing. This includes managing stress levels, improving quality of sleep, building on your strength, flexibility and balance.

Please ensure you wear comfortable clothing, suitable footwear and bring a water bottle. Note – Carers will need to complete a Participant Readiness Form before joining a class. This will be sent to you once you register for the activity. If you havent participated in regular physical activity for a while, it is advisable to speak first with your medical practitioner.

Come and join Lesley for some gentle modified yoga and relaxation. The class will be starting in chairs to allow carers who may have a lack of mobility or joint problems to participate. Please ensure you dress in removable layers and bring something warm as a cover for relaxation.

Venue – Community Room, Chifley Health & Wellbeing Hub (enter via second car park entrance), Maclaurin  Crescent, Chifley

Contribution – Carers are welcome to make a financial contribution each week towards this activity

NOTE  – Class will not operate on public holidays.
