This session will be facilitated by a solicitor from Care Consumer Law, who will talk about making informed decisions when buying goods and services including when you are doing this in your carer’s role.
The session will also cover strategies for protecting yourself from scams (according to ACCC, in 2020 Australians lost almost $78 million to scammers). The final part to this presentation will touch on financial abuse and the role of consumer and credit lawyers in assisting clients impacted by financial abuse in the context of domestic and family violence.
