Understanding and Responding to Behaviours of People with Dementia

Participants attending this workshop will gain new skills, confidence and knowledge to assist in meeting the needs of a person living with dementia.

Topics covered include:

  • What are behaviours in dementia
  • Types of behaviours
  • Information on the latest research and technology in the area of behaviours in dementia
  • Triggers for behaviours
  • Problem solving approach
  • Practical ideas and strategies to assist

Priority is given to carers of people with dementia.

If there are vacancies, these will be open to other carers. You will be further notified by email.

Lunch is provided.

Carers are welcome to make a contribution towards this activity at each session.

Please note there is underground car parking available at the National Portrait Gallery. Fees apply.
