Presented by the ACT Public Trustee and Guardian Administration services, this session will cover:
- Types of Powers of Attorney
- What is ‘legal capacity’
- Choosing and appointing a Power of Attorney
- Formal requirements to nominate a Power of Attorney
- When does a Power of Attorney become affective
This session will be conducted in person and also streamed through Zoom.
This activity is open only to carers registered with Carers ACT.
Participants will not be visible via video to the presenter or other workshop attendees and Carers ACT will not be recording this session. However it is a requirement of those attending to consent to video, images and audio of yourself and those you are responsible for being broadcast.
