Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is an effective treatment approach for helping people to manage overwhelming emotions. It is a skill-based approach that has four key components.
- Emotion regulation
- Distress tolerance
- Interpersonal effectiveness
Facilitator Sandi Plummer, a registered Psychologist from DBT Canberra will be discussing some of the approaches and how it can help in our everyday lives.
This activity is open only to carers registered with Carers ACT.
By attending and participating in this session, you consent to video, images and audio of yourself and those you are responsible for being used in this manner. The session will not be recorded.
