This is an interactive and fun workshop where you and other carers have the opportunity to explore the meaning of ‘radical self-care’, how our language impacts our behaviour, and look at common blocks to progress and how to get around them.
Like any behaviour change, setting boundaries and prioritizing self-care can be challenging… so it’s important to understand how you can approach the process and what’s to be expected.
Presented by Liz Tilley an executive, personal development and conflict management coach, this workshop will be a mix of imparting information for you to consider, time for discussion to generate insights, exercises to help open up new ways of thinking, and practical tips you can implement. A guided meditation exercise will also be included. Working on the premise that new insights and learning are best integrated by working with the head, heart and hands, the workshop will incorporate some creative expression through art and craft or writing.
A light lunch will be provided so please send through any dietary requirements to firstname.lastname@example.org and please bring a notebook and pen to the workshop.
Please note this session is specifically for carers who are unable to attend during the week due to work commitments. Due to the demand for this session carers are only allowed to register for one self care session.
