“Understanding Change, Loss and Grief” is as two and a half hour seminar for people with an interest in learning about grief, its potential triggers and impacts. It provides strategies for managing grief and moving forward.
Participants may be interested in finding out more about grief for personal reasons or to deepen their understanding of the impact of grief and loss in their caring role.
This seminar is primarily an educational experience.
Full cost of the course is payable before attendance through the ticket selection. Payment options include debit and credit cards. Should a carer be unable to afford this or pay online, please contact Carers ACT on 6296 9982 or through emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. As this activity is at a cost to Carers ACT should a carer be unable to attend there will be no refund unless you notify Carers ACT by end of day, 10 September 2018.
Registration through Eventbrite is essential through the link below. Carers ACT will be live streaming this session. If you are unable to attend on the day but would like to view the live stream of the session from your electronic device (such as mobile phone, tablet, or computer), please register a “Streaming” ticket. If you select a “Streaming ticket, you will receive a separate email at least two days prior to the advertised date and time with a link to click on the session. By attending and participating in this session, you consent to video, images and audio of yourself and those you are responsible for being used in this manner. As this session is being live streamed, participants are reminded to arrive before or on time. The session will commence once the facilitator is available and as close to the advertised time.
