Join award-writing poet and author, Lee Taylor-Friend who will guide you through various techniques such as simple poetry, free verse, rhyming poetry, mindfulness through verse and more. Be prepared to expand, express and explore. No previous writing experience required.
Some of the many benefits of poetry include being a positive self-help tool to increase your well-being and reduce stress, expressing yourself in a safe, non-judgmental and welcoming environment as well as expanding your horizons.
This session will be conducted wholly online through Zoom. The session will not be recorded.
This activity is open only to carers registered with Carers ACT.
Participants will not be visible via video to the presenter or other workshop attendees and Carers ACT will not be recording this session. However it is a requirement of those attending to consent to video, images and audio of yourself and those you are responsible for being broadcast.
