Come along to a session about the My Health Record presented by the Capital Health Network.
My Health Record is here – by the end of 2018 a My Health Record will be created for every Australian, unless they choose not to have one. My Health Record is a secure, online summary of an individual’s key health information, which can provide many valuable benefits for both carers and their loved ones. With permission, the system gives carers control over health and healthcare services being provided, and the ability to see prescribed medicines, as well as pathology and diagnostic reports for the people they care for. My Health Record also gives carers the capacity to upload important health information including allergies and Advance Care Directives, and it allows movement of a person’s medical information from one healthcare provider to another.
Registration to attend is essential through the Eventbrite below. If you are unable to attend on the day please notify us as soon as possible via firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 6296 9982.
Please be aware that Carers ACT will be live streaming this sessions. If you can not attend in person and wish to participate, please register a “Streaming” ticket. We will send you details a couple of days prior to the event.
The live streaming and recording of this sessions may mean that participants are recorded for broadcast and/or future viewing. By attending and participating in this session, you consent to video, images and audio of yourself and those you are responsible for being used in this manner. As this session is being live streamed, participants are reminded to arrive before or on time. The session will commence once the facilitator is available and as close to the advertised time.
