An event every week that begins at 10:30 am on Thursday, repeating until November 7, 2019
Join our qualified facilitator, experimenting with paint on canvasses in this four-week art therapy course to explore your understanding of self and your environment.
Note – You don’t need to be artistic to participate. Explore your creativity in a safe place and see what you may discover about yourself!
This course will be using painting to explore the following topics:
· Remembering
· Hope
· Sorrow
· Balance and rebalancing
· Self-understanding
· Growth
· Appreciation and gratitude.
Please be aware – this is not an art class but a symbolic, creative and experiential approach to understanding your caring role through art.
Please note this activity will proceed based on meeting minimum numbers. If this activity is cancelled due to low numbers, Carers ACT will refund the cost.
This course is for four continuous weeks, from 17 October to 7 November. Registration through the link is essential as there are limited spaces available. If a carer is unable to afford this or book online, please contact Carers ACT on 6296 9982 or by emailing rsvp@carersact.org.au.
