Do you care for someone living with dementia?
Join Carers ACT for a session describing the losses and accompanying grief we may experience as carers supporting someone living with dementia.
Presented by Canberra Grief Centre, this presentation will commence by reflecting on the concept of grief; why we grieve and how we might experience this as a carer. The presentation will reflect on the layers of losses we might feel in our caring role and then some way we can support our sense of grief.
Cost – $5 to be paid by carers on the day.
Please note, this session is specifically for Carers of people with dementia. There will be further sessions in the year that are available to all carers.
To register please follow the link below and you will receive a confirmation email on completion. If you are unable to attend on the day please let us know as soon as possible by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 6296 9982.
