Getting what you need from the health system

September 27 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm AEST

Free

What do you need from our health system?

Is it more than to feel safe and be treated so that you feel better?

This presentation will include learning from each other and the presenter about:

  • What we can expect from the health system
  • Our health care rights
  • Where to go to get the right treatment at the right time
  • Who or what is available to help you navigate
  • Your next steps in increasing your skills, knowledge, confidence or motivation to gain what you need.

Registration through Eventbrite is essential through the link below. Carers ACT will be live streaming this session. If you are unable to attend on the day but would like to view the live stream of the session from your electronic device (such as mobile phone, tablet, or computer), please register a “Streaming” ticket. If you select a “Streaming” ticket, you will receive a separate email at least two days prior to the advertised date and time with a link to click on the session.

By attending and participating in this session, you consent to video, images and audio of yourself and those you are responsible for being used in this manner. As this session is being live streamed, participants are reminded to arrive before or on time. The session will commence once the facilitator is available and as close to the advertised time.

If you are unable to attend on the day please notify us as soon as possible by emailing rsvp@carersact.org.au or by calling 6296 9982. You may also change your ticket to a “Streaming” ticket, if this is more suitable to you.
