Dementia Education Series: Enabling EDIE Learning through Virtual Reality

Carers of people with dementia are invited to participate in our Dementia Education Series

Carers eligible to register for the topics in the Series must be a carer of a person with dementia as per the government funding program.

Topic 1 – Education Dementia Immersive Experience – Enabling EDIE

Come along to this session to better understand and gain insight on what it is like for a person with dementia, by utilising virtual reality.

This three hour workshop focuses positively on what carers can do, by building your skills and knowledge around:

  • Your loved one’s or friend’s perspective of dementia
  • How to identify support needs for the person with dementia and you, their carer and other service providers
  • How to develop a dementia support plan enabling a person living with dementia to live well.

Cost – $20 per person to be paid on registration.
