Need some time for yourself to chill out or to declutter your mind?
Take an hour out for yourself by joining our new weekly meditation class. Meditation is both a skill and an experience. By practising regular meditation, this may offer you many health benefits, such as reduced stress and anxiety, improved concentration and quality of sleep.
No experience is necessary – just wear comfortable clothes, dress in layers and bring a water bottle.
Each week, our experienced teacher Belinda will guide you through various different meditations, incorporating some mindfulness activities. Leave feeling relaxed and calmer…what have you got to lose!
Carers who have practised regular meditation before have made the following comments:
- I am much more relaxed and happy after doing something for myself. Carrying over relaxation techniques helps to decrease stress at home and unwind after crazy days.
