Carers’ Kokodama Workshop

October 19, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am AEDT

Spring is here – let’s get our hands dirty and make our own Kokodama (plant) to take home!

With its origins in Japan, a Kokodama is described as a pot less plant or moss ball  in translation and meaning.

Carers are invited to come along to this workshop to make your own Kokodama to take home. Making a Kokodama is considered a therapeutic activity – being mindful in making your soil sphere, mounding and wrapping the plant base and turning this into something beautiful, whether displayed  on their own, hung or placed in glass vases. This workshop will also include some mindfulness meditation and breath work. No experience required. All materials supplied.

Cost: $5 per person
