With its origins in Japan, a Kokedama is described as a pot less plant or moss ball in translation and meaning.
Carers are invited to come along to this workshop to make your own Kokedama to take home. Making a Kokedama is considered a therapeutic activity – being mindful in making your soil sphere, mounding and wrapping the plant base and turning this into something beautiful, whether displayed on their own, hung or placed in glass vases. This workshop will also include some mindfulness meditation and breath work. No experience required.
Cost: $10 per carer (includes lunch)
Cost includes all materials and plants to take home. However please bring your own garden gloves, a hat and sunscreen.
