Carer Cake and Chat: Emotional Intelligence

May 14, 2020 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm AEST

Emotional Intelligence (EQ), what is it, why it matters and how to master it.

Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognize and manage our emotions while understanding and influencing the emotions of others.  Emotional intelligence is the connection between the head and the heart.

This session will explore the four domains of Emotional Intelligence and how they affect every aspect of our lives.  It combines theory with practice where you will experience a sample of each domain that can be applied immediately to leverage the skills you already have for enhancing relationships, decreasing stress and refining decision making.

Emotional Intelligence is a skill and like any skill it gets better with training and practice. The tips and tools you discover today will support you in navigating with greater ease the sometimes turbulent course of life.

This session will be conducted wholly online however there is an option to phone into the session if you aren’t able to access internet. The session will not be recorded.
