With the constantly changing views on ‘what we should be eating or not’, how do we know what is beneficial for our bodies as we age?
This information session will make sense of food choices to benefit yourself and the person you care for as you age.
Delivered by an accredited practicing dietitian, this session will cover:
Tips on specific nutrients required for healthy aging
Debunking common food myths
Overcoming common barriers to healthy eating.
There will also be specific nutrition resources such as, fact sheets, brochures and recipes to support the presentation all with a focus on healthy eating for seniors.
This session will be live streamed. Nutrition Australia ACT Inc. is acknowledged as the owner of the content and that the content is only available to Carers registered with Carers ACT.
