Carers are invited to join us for the Advanced Photography Course.
This course is available to carers who have completed an Intermediate Photography course or those with a good grasp of their camera settings. The course will provide carers with the subject matter to create visually stunning images through multiple lighting techniques, backdrops, props and accessories. Under the guidance of a professional photography teacher with over 30 years experience in a photography studio, you’ll be surprised at your own talent and abilities.
The course comprises of four weekly classes as follows:
Friday 1 June, 12.30pm – Light refraction with glass spheres, prisms, water droplets, and mirrors
Friday 8 June, 12.30pm – Nature close-up in colour and black and white
Friday 15 June, 12.30pm – Portraiture in natural and studio lighting
Friday 22 June, 12.30pm – Shadows and special effects
Cost – $20 per Carer
The considerations for this class include:
Equipment – please bring a tripod – if you have one, camera with charged batteries, memory card with space inserted and your instruction manual if you wish to reference it.
This course is for four continuous weeks, from 1 June – 22 June 2018. Full cost of the course is payable before attendance through the ticket selection. As this course is at a cost to Carers ACT should a carer be unable to attend there will be no refund or make up sessions.
